Year 12 English and Drama Trip

At the end of March, Year 12 English and Drama students visited Stratford-Upon-Avon. The weather was kind to us and we got some sunshine on our first afternoon as we enjoyed an informative walking tour of the town and a behind-the-scenes tour of the Royal Shakespeare Company theatre.

Our evening was spent laughing at Matthew Baynton’s exploits in a brilliant production of ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’. On day two, we had the benefit of some Shakespeare experts through Hamlet workshops, put on by the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust, which we followed up with a visit to the birthplace itself. We finished the day with a competitive treasure hunt, some celebrity spotting and photo scavenger challenge.

A brilliant time was had by everyone.
