Thank you for your interest in attending Simon Langton Grammar Sixth Form Open Evening on Thursday 29th January 2026 between 5.30 and 8.00pm. The evening will provide an opportunity for a guided tour of our multi-million pound building, along with the chance to meet our students and subject staff to discuss your options within our dynamic A Level curriculum. Boasting an impressive and broad range of courses, and super-curricular opportunities we are a vibrant and thriving Sixth Form community. You will have the chance to meet the Sixth Form team who support students with their academic aspirations and personal development as well as attending one of the two Headteacher Presentations in the Hall at 5.45p.m. and 6.45p.m.
The evening will provide an insight into our award-winning Langton Extended Curriculum, unique IVE lecture series and our university and careers preparation programme. As part of this we will also present our highly successful ‘Future Pathway’ programmes which provide specialist preparation for students wanting to apply to competitive courses and institutions such as medics, dentists and vets; Oxbridge and competitive courses; the US and the Ivy League; law; civil engineering; the Arts; journalism and degree apprenticeships. As a result of our pathways, 48% of applicants from our sixth form went to a Russell Group university with 29% going on to a ‘Top 10’ university.
Free parking is available for the ‘Open Evening’ at the New Dover Road 'Park and Ride' which is only a short walk to the school.
